Smith Rock Race Group, LLC, creators of the Cascade Lakes Relay, invite you to gather up to 11 other friends, and get ready for your next scenic & challenging adventure! The Hells Canyon Relay runs through the day and night as teams complete 24 or 36 continuous legs of varying lengths in some of the most breathtakingly beautiful scenic natural areas, and quaint towns in Northeastern Oregon.
We start with the Historic Oregon Trail, follow along the Powder River, through the towns of Richland and Halfway, conquer the world renowned Hells Canyon Recreational Area, enjoy gorgeous views of the Eagle Cap Wilderness, with Mt. Baker overlooking Wallowa Lake. Then be welcomed by Joseph & Enterprise communities for some R&R. Take in the sights and sounds of the Wallowa & Minam Rivers, countless gorges and stunning vistas of the rugged terrain in the NE corner of Oregon. Finishing in La Grande at Pioneer Park, where you can enjoy hot showers, great food, beer gardens or soak in a 98 degree warming pool with your fellow mates as you kick back and enjoy your reward party!
